St Paul U 18 girls take gold at Sherwood Park tournament

The first few days of March will be very cold with overnight lows on Tuesday expected to be - 25 C. However temperatures recover on Thursday and daytime highs will be above zero.
This years Family Day Celebration held on February 16 at Reunion Station was bigger and had a greater variety of activities then ever before. There was a Teepee with free samples of dried meat and bannock sponsored by the Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre. ACFA's Cabane a Sucre (Cabin of Sugar) was selling toffee on snow.
Outside there was tobogganing, skating, ice fishing and horse drawn sleigh rides. Inside Rainbow the clown was making balloon animals / objects and sparkle tattoos.
There was a Toonie pancake breakfast with Mayor Andersen and a hamburger / hot dog concession by the St. Paul Family Benefit.
